Camping: Fire Mtn Cove, Lake Mojave

Yep, we are gone again. Leavin' tomorrow for Lake Mojave and thirty-one miles of dirt and rock to get there. Only used 4x4 low once but I aired out tires to 12 lbs almost the entire way on Monday, just to check the road out when I take the Mrs. Primitive camping at it's best, taking the kayak too, it's been almost three months since we have been in water. Of course our primitive camping ain't really that bad: Big Gas Grill, queen size air matress 19" off the ground. Good wine and the desert air! Good fishing too! There are only three campsites. I'm glad I don't have a GPS because the next time we'd go there would be people there. The road isn't too bad if you are careful.
