Hey everyone,so I am new to the forum and actually new to camping 
I decided its time to get close to mother nature and that outdoors is much better than staying in and procrastinating in front of Netflix,right?
So I'd like to ask following things:
1) are there any certain things I should be aware of that most newbies miss out?
2) i am really,really bad at navigation,so whats the best thing not to get lost and eaten by bears? do you guys mostly use good 'ol compasses or is it better to trust the fancy mobile apps?
