I forgot to update the masses on my trip this year.........same place, good weather.
Didn't play baseball like I wanted to......left too early.
But..............in all the good things, there were some bad.
There were a few small things....no canoe rentals, fewer staff on hand for issues, some repairs that were needed around the park, the mosquitoes one night were cannibalistic.
But the biggest sore point was the park had a problem with the water supply...(pump/line/break).
This means we had no running water for almost 2 straight days, it would be on for 2-3 hours then off again til the next day, then on for an hour or so.....
I sent an email regrading the increasing fees and declining service, and the water issue.
I was rather surprised to to allowed a refund of 2 nights camping for the trouble!!
I know parks do have problems, but when all staff members drive around in Ford F150 4X4 trucks, and there is a pump that is falling apart, it makes you a bit upset where the priorities are.
I am sure there could have been worse though...(forest fire, tornado..)
Anyways...........next year will be better.
