Know some folks from east of Dothan Alabama. Fort Rucker Alabama. From map, they are many miles south and east of Ya'lll. We live in southcentral Indiana. Due north of Louisville, Kentucky.

Howdy John,
No Lake Tahoe doesn't freeze over! Ha Ha! Sand Harbor is a private beach that closes in the winter. The Lake is 6500' in elevation. Lake Tahoe is very large and deep. The waters are crystal blue and it is said that you can see down to 100'. The lake is very cold and people can go out on it any time. Sand Harbor is located near a 13,000 acre state park that doesn't allow camping. Most campgrounds are located on the California side, but we don't know that for sure. It was our first time to visit the lake!
