    Re: Solar power products

It should be noted that the folks at GZ now have a lithium version of their 400, 1000 and 1400 yeti battery & inverter packages...

From what I hear the 400 at least does not recharge from a vehicle 12 volt system.

    Enjoy!

2006 Jeep Rubicon, TJ; 4.11 gears, 31" tires, 4:1 transfer case, lockers in both axles
For DD & "civilized" camping; 2003 Ford explorer sport, 4wd; ARB & torsen diffs, 4.10 gears, 32" MTs.
Ground tents work best for me, so far.
Experience along with properly set up 4WD will get you to & through places (on existing, approved 4WD trails) that 4WD, alone, can't get to.

I favor less costly DIY options however the GZ 400 is roughly equivalent to my 35 AH battery which powers tunes a few devices, lighting very well... If I remember correctly; GZ says their yeti 400 will power a fridge for 7 hours however I have run my fridge over night with the 35 AH battery; I would recommend a unit larger than a yeti 400/35AH battery for fridges.

      Enjoy!
