I have noticed that this place tends to die down on the weekends. I would assume its because people are out enjoying nature.

Re: Hello?.....hello.....ello....ello
I'd like to think you're right about forum members getting out and about in nature on the weekends.
I managed to get out yesterday and do some hiking - although the roads I took to this trailhead didn't need the Xterra's 4wd, just the ground clearance for some dried puddle holes. A fun outdoors day...but not really "camping". Still have another 7 weeks til the next camping trip, which seems like a long time away.

I figure folks are doing something... hopefully camping...
Enjoy!2006 Jeep Rubicon, TJ; 4.11 gears, 31" tires, 4:1 transfer case, lockers in both axles
For DD & "civilized" camping; 2003 Ford explorer sport, 4wd; ARB & torsen diffs, 4.10 gears, 32" MTs.
Ground tents work best for me, so far.
Experience along with properly set up 4WD will get you to & through places (on existing, approved 4WD trails) that 4WD, alone, can't get to.

You are right. Went camping this weekend for the first time since June. Had a nice creek across the road.
Sites are free. Water is provided, but we brought our own, as well as a generator to recharge the trailer battery.
Record 93 degrees on Friday - last time that hot on September 23rd was in 1908 according to NWS.
Had the furnace on in the travel trailer by Sunday morning.- Laura
