  • Swiss Army Knife - Here's how to sew with one.

When buying a Swiss Army Knife, make sure you get one with the AWL.
If you need to repair straps, bags, tents, etc.... you can sew with it.
Here's a video on how to sew using a Swiss Army Knife:

Also make sure you put in a claim report when the knife is confiscated at the airport......

That was pretty cool. I would not have figured out punching and creating the loop at the end of the awl. Nice tip on burning the end of the strings to keep from unraveling.

I awl-ways wondered why the awl had a hole in it...guess that's why. And sorry for the bad pun.

          What's to be sorry for??
I thought it was kind of punny...

          Enjoy!

Ground tents work best for me, so far.
Experience along with properly set up 4WD will get you to & through places (on existing, approved 4WD trails) that 4WD, alone, can't get to.
