  • Battery Charging while plugged in?

This is my first time posting to this forum and have enjoyed reading the information. I recently bought a 2006 Jayco Jay Series 1206 that was in great condition. I have looked through the owners manual and haven't found my answer. Does anyone know if I'm plugged into 15 or 30 amp power, does it automatically keep the battery topped off?

    Thanks in advance.

Re: Battery Charging while plugged in?

Same power comes from 15 amp as a 30 amp plug. I just wouldn't run the Ac at the same time as the electric hotwater heater and microwave..... Your batteries should charge fine on 15 amp. Most batteries charge at about 10amp hr. So if you have a 100 amp battery your looking at 10 hr before they are fully charged
