  • Power Converter

I think I need a new power converter, but I want to know for sure before I buy a new one. With a volt meter I only detect current going through the 20 amp battery fuse; I don't see any current through the 12 volt 15 amp circuits. If I do need to replace it, is the WCFO 8712 hard to install. I've wired DC circuits before, but I haven't done much AC.

the first thing to check is the fuses , there should be a battery fuse on the converter. if this is on an older popup a lot of them don't charge the battery. if it's not a converter/charger it should have a switch batt. /off/conv. and it will only work on battery or converter but not both.

All of the fuses are fine, I expect if it was working correctly I should have voltage going through all of them. If there is no current going through the circuit, what is the point of having a fuse?
