I'm considering taking the family and staying at Convict Lake. Has anyone had any experience tent camping there?
I have several questions:
- Showers. I see that there are no showers there. But the resort does have showers that can be used (I've heard). Is using the shower an inconvenience? How much does it cost?
- Tent sites. How big are the tent sites? I see they only allow 6 where most places I've been to have 8. Does this mean that the sites are smaller than usual? And what about elbow room from your neighbors? Which sites do you like? Which sites are the biggest?
- The lake. How cold is the lake in the summer?
