This is actually a great idea! my fiancee and I have a 4 year old niece. We are taking her camping this year for the first time, we will have to use this one!

Another idea with food - take double seal plastic food bags and pudding mix(instant) and milk. Let the kids make the pudding desert in the bags by shaking them. Also, a good old bag of peanuts in the shells is a busy body thing - had 5 grandsons sunday - all young and we needed a little time to just breath quietly and boy did it work.

My two year old son thinks that the tent is for Wrestlemania and it takes hours to get him calm enough to sleep.
