When I was younger this was by far my favorite breakfast to make when camping.
Serves: 6
Ingrediants:
6 strips of bacon
6 eggs
muffin tin
salt and pepper for personal seasoning
cheese (optional)
Preparation:
1. Cut the bacon strips in half, creating 12 small pieces of bacon
2. Place two pieces, crisscrossing, at the bottom of each muffin tin, creating a small bacon basket.
3. Place the muffin tin over the fire, use a grill top or creatively balance it on top of the fire. Leave there until the bacon is cooked to your liking.
4. While waiting for the bacon to cook, crack the eggs into a bowl, and scramble them together. Once your bacon is cooked, then evenly pour the scramble into each of the bacon baskets. Let cook until done.
Another way:
- You are able to not have bacon, you can cook the eggs in butter.
- There are no issues with putting in vegetables into your eggy basket.
- Use the cheese... use the cheese ;p
Nom Noms... Enjoy!
