I was camping a month ago and was in a nasty lightening storm. My 2 person tent has aluminum poles. Is it any safer to have a tent with fiberglass poles in a lightening storm?
I kayak camp mostly Georgian Bay Canada on Islands most of the time there are very few trees so iam not the tallest object but still rather exposed sometimes. Or iam I just looking for an excuse to buy another tent, lol. Tent was very dry with heavy rain. A kelty Grand Mesa 2 tent.
