    Betty Crocker beefy rice..................

I was missing it badly, then I found/came up with this:

    1 lb ground beef

    1 1/2 - 2 cups instant rice

2 beef bouillon cubes I like powdered bouillon, but it's hard to get in my neighborhood

    2-3 tablespoons soy sauce

    3-4 cups water

Salt, Pepper, onion powder, garlic powder to taste

    1. Brown beef in skillet

    2. Add all other ingredients (I usually add 2 cups of water to start with and then add 1/2 cup as needed)

3.Using bouillon, make sure you add it before to the water before the other ingredients to dissolve it.

    4. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and cover.

    5. Cooking time varies, but with instant rice it usually takes about 10-15 minutes. I like to let it sit off the heat for a couple of minutes to let the sauce thicken a little.

Philadelphia Whipped Cream Cheese with Onion.

Yeah, you can still get it with onion and chive, but not the whipped version which was the ultimate dip for potato chips.
