How do you clean or wash a Self inflating pillows?

I would normally just use a pillowcase with it since they are hard to clean

If you mean the ThermaRest type, just wash them like regular laundry and don't over-dry them.

I would just use water, a spray cleaner or dish soap, and sponge. Wet it, scrub it down with the sponge, rinse liberally, and let it air dry.

All manmade material similar to an inflatable swimming float just needs a spray like Fantastic or PineSol.
