  • New member and trailer

Just traded in my 2009 Palomino popup and picked up a 2014 Palomino Puma 28ft today! After coming home and the wife and I going all thru it and playing with everything I joined this site! Here's pics of them both. That was the last camping trip to Deep Creek Lake State Park in MD!

What tow vehicle are you using?

North Bend State Park http://www.northbendsp.com/ There is a nice, new section and an older section. Both have their charms, but I like the older electric only sites better. Very family oriented. If you bike, the North Bend Rail Trail is awesome. http://www.northbendrailtrailstatepark.com/

Mountwood Park http://www.mountwoodpark.org/ is nearly in our backyard with easy access to Parkersburg, WV and Marietta, Ohio. The Rail Trail starts near there. Lots of Oil & Gas history and the 25th Annual Volcano Days is next month. There is a Challenge at Mountwood coming up with a 10 mile trail run. Lots of Civil War history sites in WV and if you want to camp along the Civil War Trail you can leave from Mountwood and go on the Staunton-Parkersburg Turnpike http://www.civilwartraveler.com/EAST/WV/

I used to go to Deep Creek Lake in college at the U of Md around 1970. It is a great place.
